A View from the Bridge @ LVLT

A tragedy in the classic form...the central character is a long-shoreman, Eddie Carbone, a Brooklyn laborer, who holds family and honor above all else. He and his wife have raised a niece as their own. But his possessive love of his niece drives him to actions that betray his family and his ideals. This is an intensely absorbing drama, sure of itself every step of the way. It makes no false moves, wastes no time and has the beauty that comes from directness and simplicity.
