L.A. Walker is a motivational speaker, playwright, songwriter, and Co-Executive Director of Social Issues Theatre. A proud U.S. Army Veteran and graduate of the Defense Information School, she began her journey as a military television anchor before serving as News Director at WBGR Radio in Baltimore.

Known for her dynamic presence and authentic storytelling, L.A. has devoted her life to community uplift and social consciousness through the arts.Her signature initiative, the G.A.G. Method — which stands for Good, Amazing, and Great — empowers dementia caregivers and individuals healing from grief and trauma to rebuild from within. Through this creative growth and renewal program, L.A. helps others rediscover their purpose, embrace resilience, and celebrate the power of becoming their “new me.”
