Fall into a September of fabulous Las Vegas Music!

As Shakespeare wrote in his play, Twelfth Night: "If music be the food of love, play on, give me excess of it…” Well, many of this fall’s musical events come with abundant nourishment for the belly as well as the soul. Here’s just a taste of some fall festivals, sprinkled with a soupçon of singular harmonious happenings, along with reminders of the venues that regularly serve up sumptuous melodic vittles to lift our spirits. Japan America Society of Nevada brings together the powerful and accelerating energy of two visiting Taiko groups from Japan: Nobushi and Koul. Each one has a very distinctive style within the traditional drum music. Nobushi (Independent Samurai) transpires their battlefield on to the world stage with a main Samurai theme, changing “Swords to the Drum Stick”. Koul's name is derived from a special language in Buddhism. Sept. 13th at Winchester Cultural Center at 6 pm. https://goo.gl/9nqSFA

The 45th Annual Las Vegas Greek Food Festival is Sept. 15th-17th, so break out your dance shoes and get ready to indulge in some of the best food, drink and expressions of Greek culture offered locally!
