In every neighborhood, there is someone who makes the Arts a part of their life, and our community. You'd be surprised to discover how many different people use the arts to improve the quality of life in our hometown. EAT MORE ART! VEGAS will feature them regularly in our series "10 Bites."
What performing art do you do?
I perform in Theater and soon a Stage play.
Why do you do it?
I enjoy being on stage and performing in front of a lot of people. It is different than film and a lot of work. I learn a lot, and I meet a lot of people. It is really fun.
What’s your favorite production/performance so far?
I really like all of my performance experiences. I got to do community theater and a full casting theater performance at UNLV and Urban Noir. Soon I will be performing an actual stage play with Ms Michelle Boykin of Las Vegas Black Film Festival
What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
I model and I have done films; Sci-Fi, drama, and comedy. I've been in fashion shows and print shoots for major companies.
What memorable responses have you had to your work?
I am a real natural and when they see me I am eye catching.
What would you be doing if you weren't performing your art?
Learning in school, playing with my friends and making science at home.
Name something you love about Las Vegas, and why.
I love the Paris Tower on the strip.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
To stay strong and never give up.
What superpower would you have and why?
The power to go fast. I wish I could be at more than one place at a time, because I'm always busy. So, when I get it all done I can relax and have fun.
Any future projects?
Yes, I was booked for one more theater performance, then next year a stage play which I will be the only child, totally cool and a film.
