By Debbie Hall

The Las Vegas arts community comes together once again as Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) presents the second annual Blue Christmas, in partnership with U=U, on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The evening blends top-tier artistry with meaningful community impact, raising funds and awareness for Southern Nevadans living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Headlining this year’s celebration is Billy Gilman, the Grammy-nominated recording artist whose career launched with the hit “One Voice” and later surged again when he became the Season 11 runner-up on The Voice. Gilman’s unmistakable vocal presence brings a heartfelt, soulful energy perfectly suited to a holiday benefit.

The concert showcases a vibrant roster of Las Vegas talent and Broadway veterans, including:

Michelle Murlin, the dynamic Broadway leading lady known for Les Misérables, Cats, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, admired for her powerhouse voice and uncanny musical impersonations.

Brett Pruneau, a versatile vocalist and Strip performer who has headlined at multiple major properties and held a two-year run in the iconic Jubilee! at Bally’s.

Mark Preston, celebrated member of The Lettermen for 11 years, during which the group earned induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Chadwick Johnson, an expressive singer-songwriter whose upcoming album Unbreakable highlights his intimate, narrative-driven approach.

Skye Dee Miles, a beloved Las Vegas force whose credits range from Menopause: The Musical to 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque and Midnight Skye.

Ryan Beyer, a genre-blending jazz vocalist with a warm, evocative style shaped by influences from Chet Baker to Joni Mitchell.

AFAN, founded in 1984, remains Nevada’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization. Its programs provide essential services—from testing and medical case management to transportation, housing support, food distribution, education, and outreach—ensuring that individuals affected by HIV/AIDS receive comprehensive, dignified care.

Its client service programs enhance the physical health and psychosocial well-being, promoting dignity and improving the overall quality of life for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. For more information, visit afanlv.org and follow on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Blue Christmas is more than a concert; it is a moment for the creative community to gather in the spirit of generosity, artistry, and solidarity. The night promises holiday favorites, stirring performances, and a shared purpose that resonates well beyond the stage.

A Meet & Greet add-on is available with all tickets, offering 6 p.m. early entry and a professional photo with Billy Gilman. Click here to purchase tickets.
