Champagne Lipsmack to Perform Benefit Concert July 20

Indie rock stalwarts Champagne Lipsmack are set to unveil their latest musical offering with the release of "Can't Rain All the Time." This soul-stirring anthem, written by band members Serena Kiddy and Jonathan Haggard, addresses the profound themes of mental health and overcoming depression.

"Can't Rain All the Time" represents Champagne Lipsmack's second single release of 2024, following the critical acclaim of their debut earlier this year. Known for their evocative lyrics and distinctive sound, the band continues to resonate deeply with fans seeking music that transcends boundaries.

In conjunction with the single release, Champagne Lipsmack proudly presents "Alive & Loud", a benefit and awareness concert in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Nevada (AFSP). The event is scheduled to take place at the Sand Dollar Downtown, located inside the Plaza Casino in Las Vegas, on Saturday, July 20, beginning at 7 p.m. All proceeds generated from the concert will directly benefit AFSP Nevada's efforts to promote mental health awareness and support suicide prevention initiatives.

"We believe in the healing power of music and its ability to foster important conversations about mental health," remarked Serena Kiddy, vocalist and songwriter for Champagne Lipsmack. "With 'Can't Rain All the Time' and the 'Alive & Loud' concert, we aim to shine a light on these critical issues and encourage our community to come together in support of AFSP Nevada."

Recorded in multiple locations including Las Vegas and Goodsprings, with drums tracked in Austin, Texas, "Can't Rain All the Time" showcases Champagne Lipsmack's collaborative spirit and dedication to their craft. To complement the single's release, the band will premiere its accompanying music video exclusively during the "Alive & Loud" concert, promising an immersive visual experience that aligns with the song's poignant message.

Joining Champagne Lipsmack on stage for "Alive & Loud" will be a lineup of esteemed local acts, including Heroine Honey, Chalmer, This is Rogue Two, and Dead Money, all of whom share the band's commitment to supporting AFSP Nevada through music.

"Can't Rain All the Time" was officially released on July 17 and is now available for streaming on all major platforms.
