Jonathan Karrant Welcomes the Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra at Sunday Funday

Jazz Outreach Initiative is honored to have the students of the big band, the Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra, invited to perform on stage with acclaimed vocalist and entertainer Jonathan Karrant.

Jonathan was recently voted to JOI's Advisory Board which requires ardent and active support and collaboration for a minimum of one year. Jonathan has done that and more, including previous engagements on his stage with the Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra, offering his stage for the orchestra to present its very first "Jazz Routes" student with a trumpet and a year of free private lessons, and advocating for nearly dozen jazz education, outreach, and performance programs to his audiences.

The students in the LVYJO, ages 11 through high school seniors, are very excited to take the stage on Sunday, September 11 at 2 p.m. at Notoriety Live, and doors open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

PARKING INFO: Parking is available underneath Neonopolis from 4th street and Fremont; the ramp is on the right side of the street just past Denny’s. Park on level P2. Once parked, take the parking elevator from the parking garage up to the 3rd floor. Notoriety’s doors are straight ahead once you come off of the elevator.
