Desert Breeze Center to host La Cultura on September 24

Clark County will host La Cultura (The Culture), an outdoor event celebrating Hispanic Heritage month, on Saturday, September 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Desert Breeze Community Center, located at 8275 Spring Mountain Road near Durango, is looking for participants in the following categories: local performers/musicians, pop-up vendors, art vendors, food truck vendors, and community resources.
The outdoor event will welcome food trucks and pop-up vendors to participate. Food truck vendor fees are $60. Pop-up vendor fees for 10 feet x10 feet are $40. Tables and chairs are not included. The application can be found online or can be picked up in person at Desert Breeze Community Center. Applications must be filled out completely, or they will not be processed. The deadline for the applications is Tuesday, September 6, by 8 p.m. Upon acceptance, the deadline for submitting a payment is Monday, September 12, by 5 p.m.
Each year, Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 through October 15 to celebrate the Hispanic community's history, cultures, and contributions. Desert Breeze’s La Cultura will consist of various cultural performances from professional and amateur performers, local vendors, and other activities. This event will include tabling opportunities for local organizations, arts and crafts, games, and food.
