Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) will present Swan Lake, the enchanted fable of ill-fated love, at Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts from May 3-5.
Timeless, iconic, and beloved, Swan Lake is arguably one of the greatest ballets of all time, an achingly beautiful fairytale that is a must-see for ballet fans and newcomers alike. Set to Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, the choreography by Ben Stevenson O.B.E is classical ballet at its heartbreaking and glorious, a love story that is both symbolic and intimate, filled with emotion and humanity. Transfixed from the opening bars of Tchaikovsky’s score, audiences will treasure every majestic moment before them in a work that is as magnificent as it is unforgettable.
