When John Moran's "The Manson Family: An Opera" premiered at Lincoln Center in 1990, audiences and critics were shocked - spurring Charles Manson to write a rambling letter to one naysaying critic.
Thirty years later, Mr. Moran has granted Majestic Repertory Theatre permission to give his work a new immersive staging, taking audiences through Cielo Drive, Spahn Ranch and the violent courtrooms, including a side trip with The Beatles.
Only sixteen tickets will be sold to each performance of John Moran's "The Manson Family: An Opera," creating a very unique experience through this avant garde cult classic.
Performances begin Thursday, November 21 and conclude Sunday, December 8. Shows are 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; and 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sundays. There is no performance on Thanksgiving Day.
Tickets are $35 for general admission and suggested for ages 16 and above. This production contains moments of standing and sitting, so give consideration to mobility. There will be NO late admittance to this production.
