A New Musical Celebrating the Soul of Rock ‘N Roll
The Soul of Rock ‘N Roll is a dramatic musical (with a dash of comedy) about the origins of the music that changed the world. Within the musical, the influence that gospel, blues, jazz, and rhythm & blues had on Rock ‘N Roll is explored in an entertaining, educational and historical format.
The premiere of The Soul of Rock ‘N Roll is fast approaching. The main theater of the Clark County Library is hosting the musical’s first two performances on Saturday, January 18, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 19, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Those dates were chosen so that the premiere would coincide with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
