Eat More Art Vegas - Jun 21, 2018

Two and a half years ago, EatMoreArtVegas.com was founded to continue the coverage of the local Las Vegas performing arts community to address the lack of local Arts coverage in mainstream outlets. In 2018, the same cutbacks once reserved for Theatre, Dance and Classical Music have fallen upon local Las Vegas film scene. EAT MORE ART! Vegas is here once again to answer the call with the addition of Josh Bell to our reviewing roster.
Josh is a local freelance writer and movie/TV critic, and a longtime contributor to Las Vegas Weekly, and we ask you to join us is welcoming him to the team! You can enjoy his first piece about the Las Vegas Film Festival here.
Some may ask, "Why film when your mission was live performance?" The answer is simple: many of the same members of the "Live Production" community create for the camera as well. As the film scene has grown, the coverage has shrunk, and our goal is to find as many ways to give local artists and the public audience a place to sit at our "Arts Community Table."
Are you a local Las Vegas filmmaker with screenings to promote and news to share?
We do not post audition info, but we share news and listing information. To post audition info, or other gig listings, join our EAT MORE ART VEGAS OPPORTUNITES/AUDITIONS group on Facebook, and post away!
