An immersive, artist-driven holiday experience honoring Mexican traditions, folklore, and creative storytelling
By Debbie Hall
Colors of Mexico will usher in a season of art, light, and ancestral heritage with the debut of Navidad & Los Reyes Magos at Fashion Show Las Vegas. Running through Jan. 6, 2026, this new immersive installation transforms a 20,000-square-foot space into a living canvas of Mexican history, symbolism, and cultural celebration. Designed by the creators behind Fantasy Lab, the experience invites audiences to slow down, explore, and rediscover the spirit of the holidays through a distinctly Mexican lens.
Navidad & Los Reyes Magos offers a multisensory journey with high-resolution visuals, interactive environments, artisan craftsmanship, and a curated soundscape that highlight Mexican traditions.
“We are delighted to celebrate our beloved Mexico, and the traditions that bring families together as we open Navidad in Las Vegas,” said Fantasy Lab owner Ricardo López Franco. “Through the use of authentic Mexican art and music combined with cutting-edge technology, we will provide guests a truly magical and memorable Christmas journey.”

Art, Folklore, and Symbolism in Seven Immersive Rooms
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a kaleidoscope of color—traditional piñatas, illuminated stars, and bright poinsettias set the tone for an experience where creativity and heritage meet. The installation unfolds across seven thematic rooms, each offering a distinct perspective on Mexico’s holiday narrative.
The journey includes:
The story of the Three Wise Men, reimagined through light and celestial imagery
A pre-Hispanic reflection on the rebirth of the sun, capturing an ancient ritual of hope and renewal
An encounter with Alebrijes, the fantastical spirit-creatures that represent imagination and protection
A theatrical folk interpretation of the shepherds’ pilgrimage, blending humor, faith, and traditional storytelling
A life-size nativity scene, handcrafted by Mexican artisans and designed as a space for contemplation and photography
On December 12, in honor of Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe, guests will receive a complimentary Milagrito charm to share in the collective spirit of gratitude, community, and celebration at the Wall of Dreams.
Celebrating Mexican Cuisine as Cultural Art
True to the belief that food is a living expression of culture, Colors of Mexico also showcases regional culinary artistry. Featured dishes include:
Guacamole Tradicional
Esquites
Fideo Seco
Chicharrón de Rib Eye
Rajas con Crema
Tamal Navideño
A selection of festive cocktails—Ponche con Piquete, Nochebuena, and Blanca Navidad—complements the culinary offerings, blending seasonal flavors with creative mixology.
Bringing Mexican Creativity to the Heart of the Las Vegas Strip
Fantasy Lab, known for its emotionally rich and technologically sophisticated installations, continues its mission to uplift global cultural narratives. With Colors of Mexico, the team creates a platform where tradition, innovation, and contemporary art can intersect in a meaningful, accessible way.
Fashion Show Las Vegas, one of the Strip’s most prominent cultural and retail destinations, provides a vibrant backdrop for this art-forward activation. The venue’s emphasis on community engagement and experiential programming makes it an ideal home for a celebration rooted in family, folklore, and artistic expression.
