MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Opens Its Biggest Location Yet at AREA15

Las Vegas welcomes a colorful new immersive experience where art, play, community and unlimited ice cream come together.

What happens when you combine immersive art, childhood nostalgia, a little Las Vegas spectacle and more ice cream than you can possibly imagine?

You get the newest—and biggest—MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM.

Now open at AREA15, the Las Vegas location has made a splash since it opened, delivering the brand's most successful launch to date. But beyond the impressive numbers, the attraction offers something particularly appealing to art lovers: an environment where color, design, interactive installations and imagination become the experience itself.

The Las Vegas opening drew record-breaking crowds, with presale tickets surpassing those of the brand’s Miami opening by more than three times. More than 20 sessions sold out during opening weekend, while VIP attendance reached more than twice the level typically seen during previous MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM launches.

For a city accustomed to spectacular openings, those numbers are noteworthy.

For MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM, they represent a major step forward.

“The future of entertainment is about bringing people together through shared experiences that create joy and lasting memories,” said Manish Vora, Co-Founder and CEO of MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM. “That’s exactly why Las Vegas was the right place for our most ambitious museum yet.”

Where Art Meets Play

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM isn't a traditional museum—and that's precisely the point.

Instead of asking visitors to observe works of art quietly, the attraction encourages them to become part of the environment. Guests can climb, slide, explore, interact and play their way through a series of highly visual installations.

Color is everywhere. Texture, light, oversized objects and playful environments create a constantly changing backdrop for photographs and shared experiences.

Then there is the ice cream.

The Las Vegas location features the world's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream buffet, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to indulge while exploring the attraction. The location also features the brand's largest Sprinkle Pool, along with exclusive experiences created specifically for Las Vegas.

That combination makes the attraction particularly interesting. It demonstrates how experiential art continues to move beyond galleries and museums and into environments where visitors physically participate in the creative experience.

Las Vegas Gives It a Sweet Welcome

The community embraced the new attraction with a celebration that included a proclamation declaring July 9 MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Day.

The iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign was illuminated in the brand's signature pink, adding a distinctly Las Vegas moment to the opening festivities.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Mayor Shelley Berkley and community leaders welcomed MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM and recognized its contribution to the city's expanding collection of family-friendly entertainment.

Opening weekend brought together families, creators, community partners and visitors from around the world. Collaborations with Universal Horror Unleashed and the upcoming film Theater Is Dead added another layer to the festivities and showcased the increasingly eclectic entertainment landscape developing at AREA15.

A Delicious Opening by the Numbers

The attraction's first weekend produced some impressive statistics:

  • More than 450 gallons of ice cream served

  • Approximately 19,200 scoops enjoyed by guests

  • More than 7,000 ice cream bars and popsicles served

  • More than 20 sold-out sessions

  • Presale tickets exceeding three times those of the Miami opening

  • Record-breaking VIP attendance for a MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM launch

Those numbers tell the story of demand, but the attraction's larger story is about connection.

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM was created around the idea that play can bring people together. In Las Vegas, that philosophy translates into an immersive destination where families, friends and visitors can experience something together rather than watch it.

A New Kind of Museum Experience

Located inside AREA15, MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM joins a collection of attractions that have helped redefine what an entertainment district can be.

Here, art doesn't necessarily hang on a wall. It can surround you, invite you to interact with it and become part of your memories. The Las Vegas location takes that philosophy to its largest scale yet, offering dozens of colorful and imaginative installations alongside unlimited ice cream and exclusive experiences.

For a city known for reinventing entertainment, the attraction feels right at home at AREA15. It is playful, highly visual and unabashedly joyful—a place where art doesn't require a gallery ticket and where the sweetest part of the experience is encouraged.

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Las Vegas is open Wednesday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Las Vegas is located inside AREA15. For tickets, click here. For additional information, visit museumoficecream.com/las-vegas/. Follow on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
