A Bold, Luscious and Ludicrous Group Exhibition Curated by Cig Neutron
Prepare your senses. The JUICY Show is coming to Slonina ARTSpace this August, bringing a wild explosion of color, texture, and twisted imagination. Curated by renowned special effects artist and Face Off television show champion Cig Neutron, this group exhibition features nearly 40 artists exploring the theme of JUICINESS in its most provocative, playful, and personal forms.
The show opens with a vibrant reception during the Second Saturday Art Party, 901 E. Fremont St., 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9. The event is free and open to the public.
“The impetus for this exhibit was Cig Neutron’s viral ‘pickle people’ sculptures, which have been flying off the shelves at Slonina ARTSpace,” said gallery founder Robin Slonina. “We were so tickled by these strange, sexed-up veggie creatures that we thought, why not open it up to our whole community? The theme JUICY gave artists full freedom, and what they delivered absolutely blew us away.”
Featured artists include:
Anais Thomassian, Anna McCann, Anne Jean Linn, Anne Yoncha, Art is Nerd, Brett Loudermilk, Bryan Stewart, BLOCC, Budd Dees, Buki, Bush, Casper Clifford, Cig Neutron, Cory Harper, CreepyGals, D, Granville Stewart, Hailey Stabile, Human Artist, Jazme'n Nicole Burdette, Johnny Bones, Jonathan Larson, Julie Atlas Muz, Julie Richardson, Karch, KD Matheson, Lisa Hohenschuh, Mack Rae Watrous, Momma Neutron, Nick Beyeler, Nefertara, Nicole Jellen, Nisey Garcia Quintero, Peachadelic, Quinn Marie Carl, Richard Bistrup, Robin Slonina, Shereene Wolford, The_Sublime_in_all

With mediums ranging from sultry paintings to surreal sculptures, absurd installations to glossy video works, The JUICY Show celebrates sensory indulgence in every form. All artwork is available for purchase.
Neutron is an award-winning special effects artist whose credits include The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, Star Trek: Discovery, Spiegelworld, a championship win on Syfy’s Face Off All Stars, and viral sculpture work collected around the world. Neutron blends creature prosthetics, performance art, and psychotronic humor through their production company Bizarro Au Go Go and is a core member of Slonina ARTSpace.
“I love art that is risqué, absurd, and wildly over the top. JUICY hits all those buttons,” said Neutron. “My favorite part of my pickle people is how juicy they are. It’s a texture that is innocuous yet erotic, a perfect theme for artists to slip and slide in so many different directions.”
