David Perrico to Premiere New Original Works on June 4

Upcoming Album UNIVERSAL Debuts Through Live Music and Video Production Experience

Las Vegas audiences will have a rare opportunity to witness music creation in real time when acclaimed trumpeter, composer, arranger, and conductor David Perrico premieres six original compositions during a special live music video production on June 4 at The Industrial Event Space. This exclusive event offers a unique chance to experience Perrico's innovative work firsthand, inspiring excitement and pride among local residents and music enthusiasts alike.

The one-night-only event will serve as both a live concert and the official video production for Perrico's upcoming album, Universal (Volume 2), which showcases his latest compositions and musical evolution. Blending live performance, visual storytelling, and behind-the-scenes access, the evening invites guests into the creative process behind one of Southern Nevada's most accomplished musical artists.

Known internationally as the bandleader and conductor of the Las Vegas Raiders House Band at Allegiant Stadium, Perrico has built a distinctive artistic voice that blends cinematic orchestral textures, Broadway-inspired arrangements, jazz influences, and contemporary popular music. His Pop Symphonic concept has become one of the most ambitious musical projects in Las Vegas, delivering the power and emotional depth of a full orchestra while maintaining the energy and accessibility of a modern concert experience.

For this special production, Perrico will lead his 68-piece Pop Symphonic Orchestra through six newly composed works that showcase his continued evolution as a composer and arranger. Audience members will not only hear these pieces for the first time but will also become part of the recording itself as cameras capture both the musicians and the atmosphere of the evening.

Unlike a traditional concert, the event offers guests a front-row seat to the artistic process. Attendees will experience a professional music video production from the inside, gaining insight into how music, performance, and visual media intersect to create a finished artistic work. The immersive format fosters curiosity and anticipation, creating a special connection between artist and audience that makes spectators feel involved in the creative journey.

As one of Las Vegas' most respected musicians, Perrico has spent decades contributing to the city's entertainment landscape. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, he earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Youngstown State University and a Master of Music in Jazz Studies and Composition from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

His extensive career includes performances with the legendary Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, where he served as both featured soloist and road manager from 1994 to 2001. Perrico's trumpet and musical direction have been featured in numerous Las Vegas productions, including Donny & Marie, Pin Up, Viva Elvis, Phantom of the Opera, The Rat Pack Is Back, and performances with artists such as Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, and Toni Braxton.

Beyond the stage, Perrico has earned national recognition as a composer, receiving awards for both jazz and symphonic works. His music has been featured on PBS's ArtScene with his 20-piece band, Pop Evolution, and his ensembles have headlined venues throughout Las Vegas, including The STRAT and Palms Casino Resort. He has also served as music director for productions including Pin Up and ALICE, as well as lead trumpet and music director for Paul Shaffer's performances at Caesars Palace.

An educator and performer, Perrico served on the Jazz Studies faculty at UNLV from 2006 to 2012. His recording career includes 15 albums and five DVDs, including The Family Guy Live DVD and the Grammy Award-winning One Voice by Gladys Knight. In 2021, his all-star ensemble was named the Official NFL Raiders House Band at Allegiant Stadium, further cementing his place in Las Vegas entertainment history.

With Universal (Volume 2), Perrico continues to expand the possibilities of contemporary orchestral music, combining sophisticated composition, dynamic live performance, and cinematic visual artistry into a singular creative experience.
