The Las Vegas Men's Chorus (LVMC) will kick off its 33rd season with Let Your Heart Be Light at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus. Join them for a joyful, family-friendly holiday celebration that brings the community together through music and performance, making attendees feel part of something meaningful.
Designed as a true holiday spectacle, Let Your Heart Be Light blends the magic of the season with LVMC's signature flair. Expect plenty of North Pole shenanigans as Santa, Rudolph, and a kick line of festive elves take the stage alongside spirited renditions of classics by icons such as Stevie Wonder and Bing Crosby. The concert hall will shimmer with rich harmonies, vibrant staging, and dazzling visuals—creating a
warm, inviting atmosphere that audiences love and feel excited to experience.
Founded in 1993 by a small group of men who wanted to sing, the Las Vegas Men's Chorus has grown into a cultural cornerstone dedicated to music, connection, visibility, and advocacy. Over the past 33 years, LVMC has expanded from 10 founding members and a modest 30-person audience into a thriving ensemble of more than 100 active singers, drawing over 3,000 attendees annually to its six entirely produced concerts, inspiring pride in the community.

Their free Community Concert Series impacts more than 5,000 residents and highlights the chorus's dedication to social justice, inclusion, diversity, and equity. Through song, storytelling, and shared experience, LVMC offers what many patrons describe as "pure joy."
“We've really doubled down on that mission of giving back to the community and being present for folks where maybe they won't be. Our artistic director, Ryan Duff, says quite often that when you're part of something special, you are special. We invited all of Clark County School District's young people to join us for $5 or less tickets. We're sponsoring their Sing Out Tenor Bass Festival this year and ongoing. We're really putting our money where our mouth is and trying to become that community fixture that Las Vegas needs,” explains Ryan Miller, president and producer of the Las Vegas Men's Chorus.
Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, Miller found a job as an account director for a major coffee chain, which brought Miller to Las Vegas.
“LVMC gives me that musical outlet. When I moved here, I looked up men's choruses in Las Vegas and immediately found the Las Vegas Men's Chorus. This is how I've created my family and friend network here, which is quite literally through the LVMC,” explained Miller. "I always said I wanted to go to college and get a double major in piano performance and business management. Then I could be an arts management professional. I got to college, and I didn't complete [piano performance] major.”
However, Miller, an accomplished pianist, will perform as part of a four-hand piano piece during the show, sitting down with one of the best pianists in town. The accompanist is a staff member at The Smith Center, working on bringing art to young kids.
Let Your Heart Be Light is poised to capture that spirit once again—uniting audiences in celebration, healing, and holiday cheer.
