There is something special about discovering a great wine, hearing live music and sharing the experience with others. On Saturday, August 8, those elements will come together at Crush Pad Wine Bar for The Joy of Wine & Music, an intimate Grand Tasting Fundraiser benefiting the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus.
Beginning at 7 p.m., the evening will transform Crush Pad Wine Bar into a celebration of wine, music and community. Guests will have the opportunity to sample an impressive selection of wines from around the world while enjoying the camaraderie that has made Crush Pad’s Grand Tastings a popular annual event.
For returning guests, the evening promises the discovery and convivial atmosphere they have come to expect. For those attending for the first time, it offers an opportunity to explore new wines while supporting one of Las Vegas’ important performing arts organizations.

More than 35 wines will be available for tasting, with more than 10 sommeliers on hand to pour selections, answer questions and share their knowledge. Whether guests are longtime wine enthusiasts or simply curious about trying something new, the format encourages exploration without the pressure of knowing exactly what to choose.
Adding to the experience will be a lavish charcuterie spread designed to complement the wines. A thoughtfully curated non-alcoholic pairing experience will also be available, ensuring that guests who choose not to drink can still fully participate in the evening.
Then, at 7:30 p.m., the focus will shift from wine to song as the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus takes the stage for a live performance featuring four high-energy numbers.
The performance adds an important artistic dimension to the evening, showcasing the Chorus not simply as an ensemble, but as a vibrant part of the Las Vegas arts community.
Founded in 1993 by a small group of men who simply wanted to sing, the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus has grown over more than three decades into an organization centered on music, inclusion, diversity, equity, social justice and the creation of safe spaces through live performance.
Today, the Chorus has more than 100 active members and reaches thousands of audience members each year through its fully produced Mainstage Concerts and free Community Concert Series. Those community performances bring choral music to libraries, community centers, Pride celebrations and other venues throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
The proceeds from The Joy of Wine & Music will directly support the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus’ 2026–27 community and outreach performances, helping the organization continue to offer free concerts and expand its connections with audiences throughout Southern Nevada.
There are also several ways for guests to contribute beyond their admission.
The Blind Bottle Selection allows attendees to choose a wrapped mystery bottle for $20. Once the bottle is opened, a sommelier will reveal the wine and share its story. Five dollars from every Blind Bottle purchase will benefit the Chorus.
Guests who discover a new favorite during the tasting can also purchase bottles to take home, with $5 from every bottle sold going to the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus.
For those seeking an elevated experience, VIP admission begins at 6 p.m. and includes exclusive access to luxury wines. With only 25 VIP spots available, the experience is intentionally limited.

General admission begins at 7 p.m. and is $150, with only 100 seats available. The limited capacity helps create the intimate atmosphere that makes the event more than simply a large wine tasting. Guests can connect with sommeliers, performers, fellow wine lovers and members of the community throughout the evening.
At its heart, The Joy of Wine & Music is about bringing people together. Every glass poured, song performed and conversation shared helps support the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus and its commitment to making the arts accessible throughout the community.
The Joy of Wine & Music takes place Saturday, August 8, at Crush Pad Wine Bar, 7865 W. Sahara Ave. VIP admission begins at 6 p.m., general admission begins at 7 p.m., and the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus performs at 7:30 p.m.
