Michael Jackson’s music takes center stage when MJ LIVE opens at Saxe Theater inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The longtime Las Vegas tribute production brings its high-energy celebration of the King of Pop to a new Strip location, featuring tribute artists, dynamic choreography, a live band and theatrical effects.
Since its Las Vegas debut in 2013, MJ LIVE has entertained millions of visitors with performances celebrating Jackson’s extraordinary career. The production recreates the excitement of his legendary concerts through the songs, dance moves and stage presence that made him one of the most recognizable performers in music history.
Audiences can expect favorites including “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Bad” and “Thriller,” along with signature choreography such as the iconic moonwalk. A special Jackson 5 segment revisits the early years of Jackson’s career with classics including “I’ll Be There,” “I Want You Back” and “ABC.”
The production features tribute artists capturing Jackson’s distinctive vocals, style and choreography, accompanied by a live band, dynamic dancers, dazzling lighting and visual effects. Together, they create a concert-style experience that brings the energy of his performances to the Las Vegas stage.
"Having MJ LIVE join other Red Mercury shows in David Saxe’s theaters inside Miracle Mile Shops marks an exciting next chapter, creating a unified entertainment destination that enhances the guest experience, streamlines operations, and provides a strong foundation for future growth," said Dick Feeney, producer and owner of TRP Entertainment. "We're excited to welcome both longtime fans and new audiences to its new home this fall."
David Saxe also welcomed the production to the theater's entertainment lineup, which includes Vegas The Show, The Jets and Eddie Griffin.
"We are very excited to have MJ LIVE join our prestigious lineup of shows and can't wait to experience the Michael mania," Saxe said.
Produced by entertainment veterans Darin Feinstein and Dick Feeney of TRP Entertainment, MJ LIVE has become one of Las Vegas' longest-running and most successful tribute productions. Its move to Saxe Theater adds another established production to Miracle Mile Shops' entertainment offerings, giving visitors and locals a chance to experience the music and performances of an iconic artist.
